about

This album features 53 musicians from all over the world.

- Anna Ahnlund, from Dina ögon in Stockholm, sings like no other on the song Ego is Not Amigo. Kinkini Deb sings into a microphone in Calcutta,

Mikhaela Faye in another, in South Africa. Itunu Joe plays drums in a studio in Lagos, Tomoko Sato plays harp in Los Angeles and Angela Schleihauf, member of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, plays the Oboe in Ottawa.

I look for a musician who can make my envisioned sound a reality.

I wanted a Stevie Wonder harmonica solo in the song, It only takes 4 minutes to reach Brazil and found Zac Williams in Denmark. I wanted the most outstanding berimbau musician and found Henrique Azul, aka Berimbaucomtudo, in Rio de Janeiro. It's cool to get to know each of all these musicians from all over the world. For that reason, it could be called world music. But I think it's jazz.

There are also several well-known Swedish musicians who appear on the album, such as Karin Hammar, Morgan Ågren, Filip Ekestubbe, Christian Spering, Manne Skafvenstedt, Jonas Lindeborg and others.

- I borrowed the bassoonist Fredrik Ekdahl from the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. And the trumpeter Peter Asplund, who is on four songs on the album, plays a solo on the album's first song, Light Light Light. Oh, man! You can hear that solo any number of times.
